This Shaykh has a chain or narration going back to the Prophet salallu alaihi was salam, who took it from Jibreel who took it directly from Allah the most high. So what this means it, he was given ijaaza to recite from his teacher who in turn was given ijaaza to recite from his teacher and this chain goes all the way back to the Prophet. There were 27 or 28 names in his chain. Maasha'Allah.
